The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a points-based system that is used to assess and score a candidate’s profile. It assesses the following factors:

- Whether candidate has a Canadian Education
- Whether candidate has a foreign education equivalent to Canadian education
- Level of Education
The maximum points one can earn under the work experience is 15 points.
The points depend on:
- Duration of Work Experience
- Job Designation
- Location of Work
The maximum points can receive under the page category is 12 points.
Candidates between the age bracket of 18-35 get 12 points.
